If I was asked to sum up this time of the year is one word, it would be hectic. It seems like every week I have some major project, test, or field trip. So here’s the details about this week:
Monday: College of Science and Technology’s 10 year anniversary. Getting started with an earthquake jump brought to you by none other than the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. We’re having a bunch of kids come from a nearby school to jump at the Bell Tower and hopefully cause and earthquake. Temple actually just bought a seismometer for the event and we’re putting it on some bedrock at Ambler. There aren’t any seismometers in the area so we’re the first!
Tuesday: College of Science and Technology job fair, mineralogy presentation, calc III study session.
Wednesday: Calc III study session again! and then Memorable Moments at Konak Restaurant. Here’s a link to Memorable Moments so you know what it is! http://www.temple.edu/studentaffairs/studentactivities/events/memorablemoments.asp?open=2 I’m getting ready for my trip to Turkey!
Thursday: Facies take home test is due, Facies trip.
And somewhere in there is a calc III test, I just don’t know when : )

But, on another note, I made quite the discovery today! I was walking the dogs and all the sudden saw this big yellow truck. Big deal right? Well, it’s the truck that the Crepe guys use to save the spot for the Crepe Truck on campus when it isn’t there. That means they live in my area!! They’re so good. You can get ANY type of crepe. They are delicious and healthy. Plus, they have one called “Alexander the Crepe.” How cute is that??!
So in good news, I’m doing some exciting things this weekend! Get ready for some pictures!
