basics of yours truly

So here are the basics:

name: Amanda

age: 22

DOB:  12/01/1986

Originally from Sunbury, Pa.  Look it up, it’s fascinating  :)

Senior at Temple University (and it’s pretty terrifying)!

Geology Major, and I love it!

Will not be graduating on time because I felt bad about changing my major (I was social work, I couldn’t change without feeling guilty!!)

The theme of my college career is free.  For example, Free Food and Fun Fridays!  My favorite day of the week (esp. when it’s a pay day!!!)

I’m a vegan.  But I do slip up.

I used to have the most amazing pair of aviators ever.  But they’re no longer with me.

& finally, me:

    Soo..

I got accepted to Temple and I’m PRETTY sure it’s where I’m going to end up at in the fall. My questions is since I got accepted to Fox Business School also…what would my ideal residential hall probably be? (I would like to have the Suite Style)

    Thanks Girl.!

    Amanda,

I’ll be going to Tyler in the fall 2009. I wanted to ask you what Residentail hall is the nicest of
all of them. I will probally go communal type.
I’m not sure yet. What would you suggest?
    Were you happy with 1300?
    Thanks for your help.

      Hey Karli,

      I did a post about this in January. Here’s a link! http://owlamanda.wordpress.com/2009/01/15/148/

I would definitely recommend communal style. From my personal experience it is a lot more social. When I lived in 1300 people kept their doors closed and it was really bizarre to me. But keep in mind that res halls are all about the people that live in them, not just their reputation! 1300 is the newest and has a reputation of being the “nicest” so if that’s what you’re looking for, go for it. But I feel like the communal are a lot better for freshman and they are still nice too. I felt that 1300 was too sterile with high ceilings and fluorescent lights. If I could do it all over I would pick 1940 because the rooms are cozy and it’s great location wise.

      I hope this helps!
